I am organizing and presenting on a panel at the 2021 Social Practice of Human Rights Conference (December 2 – 3) held every two years by University of Dayton’s Human Rights Center. The Panel is from 11.30am – 1pm US EST, Thursday December 2nd, and will be held in hybrid (in person and remote) format and will be available to registrants. Our panel has a great group of people:

  • The nature of the Production problem and Distribution problem with COVID19 vaccines and treatments – Dalindyebo Shabalala, University of Dayton School of Law
  • The role of Human Rights in the WTO, WIPO, WHO in framing COVID19 vaccines access – Brook Baker, Northeastern University School of Law
  • The proposed solutions, especially the TRIPS Waiver at the WTO, and how they reflect (or do not) human rights framing – Burcu Kilic, Public Citizen
